隰县玉露香梨是山西省农科院自主研发杂交育种的白梨系品种，具有香、甜、酥、脆、含水量大等特点，可溶性固形物12.5～14.0％，总糖8.70～9.80％，可滴定酸含量0.08～0.17％，糖酸比68.22～95.31：1；果肉硬度48.02牛／平方厘米，阳面着纵向条纹状红晕。
玉露香梨是中国自主培育的山西特色优质品种，克服了传统梨渣多、皮厚、可食率低等问题。

人文历史
隰县历史悠久，素有“河东重镇、三晋雄邦”之美誉。公元前17世纪，是商朝属下的基方小国部落；公元前11世纪，西周分封诸候，属同姓诸候国中的蒲国；春秋时代，晋文公重耳分封此地，史称蒲邑。
1971年，晋南专区分设为运城、临汾两专区，隰县属临汾地区（2001年改为临汾市）。
隰县是著名的“中国金梨之乡、中国酥梨之乡”。2015年被原国家质量监督检验检疫总局确定为国家级出口水果质量安全示范基地县；2017年获批国家生态原产地产品保护示范县；2020年确定为国家第三批特色农产品优势区，2021年通过国家现代农业产业园认定。

In1971,SouthSpecialZoneofShanxiwasdividedintoYunchengandLinfenSpecialZones,andXicountybelongedtotheLinfenarea(renamedLinfenCityin2001).
Xicountyisafamous'hometownofgoldenpearsandcrispypearsinChina'.In2015,itwasdesignatedasanationalleveldemonstrationbasecountyforthequalityandsafetyofexportedfruitsbytheformerGeneralAdministrationofQualitySupervision,InspectionandQuarantineofChina;Approvedasanationalecologicaloriginproductprotectiondemonstrationcountyin2017;In2020,itwasdesignatedasthethirdbatchofnationalcharacteristicagriculturalproductadvantagezones,andin2021,itwasrecognizedasanationalmodernagriculturalindustrialpark.
产地环境
隰县地处晋西吕梁山南麓、临汾市西北边缘，位于北纬36°30＇～36°55＇、东经110°15＇～110°55＇之间；209国道纵贯南北，省道洪永线横穿东西；全县总面积1415.3平方公里，行政区划为7个乡镇。
隰县属黄土高原残塬沟壑区，境内沟壑纵横，山峦连绵，丘陵起伏，从地势上看，呈东北高、西南低，大部分海拔在1000至1300米以上。
隰县冬季寒冷少雪，春季干旱多风，夏季雨量集中，秋季晴朗凉爽；全年平均气温8.5℃～9.8℃，最高气温36℃，最低气温零下24℃；年降雨量400～580毫米；无霜期150～180天之间，春霜冻一般在四月下旬末至五月上旬初，秋霜冻一般在九月下旬末至十月上旬初。

产业发展
近年来，根据“山西农业出路在于‘特’‘优’”的精神，按照“3545”发展战略，紧扣打造特色鲜明、要素聚集、装备先进、绿色发展、品牌突出、高度融合现代果业综合体发展目标，加快构建梨果现代化产业链供应链，目前，全县有果树面积38万亩，其中：玉露香梨23万亩，酥梨2万亩，苹果12万亩，小水果1万亩。
2022年全县玉露香梨挂果面积11万亩，果品总产量1.2亿斤，产值4.8亿元，玉露香梨面积产量位居全国第一；80％的土地种植梨果，80％的农民从业梨果，80％的农业收入源于梨果，80％的贫困户依托梨果产业脱贫。
